Just like humans, dog's teeth also need regular brushing and periodical dental check. If left unattended dental disease will develop. This is a serious consequence of poor dental health as the infection originates in the gum will eventually spread throughout the body.
At Fur & Away dental treatment is performed without GA (General Anaesthesia) as it will benefit the dog in the long run. As with all general anaeasthia procedures there are risks involved. This extends particularly to aged dogs or dogs that carry health issues related to heart problems. At Fur & Away we believe it is advisable to introduce start the dog, at an early stage, to having its dental treatment performed without General Anaesthesia. |
